  • We have a rental property that required a new hot water tank. Auscan came to the rescue w/ timely advice and recommendations on using a smaller, more efficient tank, as we really didn't need the larger size for the number of tenants occupying the space. Not only was the tank cheaper as a result, but our heating costs per month will be reduced by not having to heat a larger tank! Their assistance was prompt and appreciated. At the same time we were dealing w/ the water tank, we had issues w/ our dishwasher at our address. They offered a number of options to alleviate the problem. I highly recommend calling Auscan for all your plumbing needs!

  • Next day after calling Auscan they replaced my hot water tank. They were $200-$300 less than quotes from other plumbing services in Nanaimo and no waiting list. Shawn how did installation was on time courteous and helpful about any questions. I highly recommend them.

  • Lee installed all the plumbing when we built our house in 2010. A few years ago he installed a gas line for our BBQ and another hose bib for us. So when we had a new project this year, Lee was the only person we called. Lee does excellent work, is very knowledgeable and always great to deal with. We highly recommend Auscan Plumbing & Gas!

  • Lee has helped us out on 2 separate occasions now over the years installing a gas range and dishwasher and just recently a Hot Water Tank. We have been very impressed both times with his workmanship and friendly demeaner. I would highly recommend him.

  • Lee completed our gas fire place install and did a great job, we will have Lee back very pleased with the work he did. We had Lee back and he changed out our gas hot water tank. And installed a shower head system. We will recommend Auscan Plumbing and Gas ltd to all our friends

  • Our bathtub was leaking. Lee quickly found the problem and fixed it. He found us a reasonable free standing tap fillerwhich looks great. I highly reccommend this company.

  • This is the second review I've given in regards Auscan Plumbing and Gas Ltd. in the last three years I have had the need to use their services four times . The most current was today for my 89 year old step father who had an issue with his gas furnace and was without heat. I called Lee yesterday and he did the service call today at Noon, he fixed the problem in one trip and even cleaned the operational parts of the furnace then went in every room to ensure that the system was fully functioning correctly before he left. He then called me to advise what had been done. I use Lee and his company because he is reliable, knowledgeable, honest and reasonably priced plus in my experience he has always gone that little bit above and beyond for me. I suspect he does the same for ALL his customers. I highly recommend Lee and his company Auscan Plumbing and Gas Ltd.
